Reynolds Miars

Reynolds Miars joined Funston Company in March 2013 and has been an integral part of our team ever since. Over the past twelve years, he has fully embraced our mission and values—delivering quality workmanship and completing projects efficiently for our clients. With more than 23 years of professional experience, Reynolds has successfully managed numerous worksites that have laid the foundation for many of the region’s premier residential and commercial developments.

A Wilmington native, Reynolds takes great pride in serving his community. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2003 and is a Licensed Unclassified General Contractor in the states of North and South Carolina. His hands-on experience spans all aspects of civil construction, including earthwork, utilities, and site development.

Known for his leadership and problem-solving abilities, Reynolds thrives in the middle of the action—whether overseeing complex projects or ensuring operations run smoothly day-to-day. His dedication to excellence and efficiency continues to uphold Funston Company’s reputation for dependable, high-quality work.

Outside of work, Reynolds enjoys spending time with his wife, Amanda, and their two children, Remy and Gigi. He is active in the local community and a member of First Presbyterian Church. An avid outdoorsman, Reynolds enjoys hunting, sportfishing, sailing, and boating—activities that reflect his love for the coastal lifestyle he calls home.
